Actor Marvin Agustin denied reports saying that he is moving back to ABS-CBN.
In an interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com during a press conference for Star Cinema’s “Ang Tanging Ina Mo, Last Na ‘To,” Agustin said that he still has an existing contract with GMA-7 until September of next year.
He stressed that he is still happy being a contract star of his current network.
“Naku, I’m very, very happy with GMA now at ang daming blessings na natanggap ko since I moved there, ‘yong alaga at pagmamahal. Ang dami kong roles na hindi nagawa pero sila ang nag-challenge sa akin. So it would be hard for me kung ano ang mangyayari next year,” Agustin said.
The actor also bared that as early as now, GMA-7 already advised him of the renewal of his contract.
Speculations about his return to ABS-CBN swirled after he accepted the offer to be part of “Ang Tanging Ina Mo, Last Na ‘To,” the third and last installment of the hit movie “Ang Tanging Ina.”
Agustin was present at the press conference of “Ang Tanging Ina Mo, Last Na ‘To” that was held at Dolphy Theater inside the ABS-CBN compound last Thursday afternoon.
The actor said that he just feels happy to be back at ABS-CBN and promote Star Cinema’s comedy film, which is an official entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
“Masayang masaya. Hindi ko in-expect. Buti na lang ay nasa franchise ako dahil kung hindi, siguro it would also be hard for them to cast me, and it would also be hard for me to ask permission from GMA. Buti na lang at alam nilang pamilya kami. Nakakalungkot naman kung ikaw ang dahilan para di magsama-sama ang pamilya,” Agustin said.
