Pop star Sarah Geronimo is now seemingly following in the footsteps of her co-“The Voice of The Philippines” coach Lea Salonga.
In a teaser aired on Disney Channel, the 26-year-old pop star announced that she recorded her own version of ‘The Glow,’ whose music video will premiere on December 6. ‘The Glow,’ originally sung by YouTube sensation and Disney UK’s “My Camp Rock 2” champ Shannon Saunders, debuted in 2011 to coincide with the induction of the character Rapunzel, from the 2010 animated film “Tangled,” as an official Disney Princess.

The announcement got ‘Sarah G. The New Disney Princess’ trending on Twitter worldwide.
Earlier this year, Sarah scored another victory as she won Best Southeast Asian Act at the 2014 MTV European Music Awards, beating other contestants from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
