Fast and the Furious 7 as expected delivers as far as giving its viewers nail-biting car sequences! These well-executed scenes would keep your eyes glued onscreen. They’ll have you at the edge of your seats!
Jason Statham is a formidable opponent for the gang. He has such a strong screen presence but I find his character development here quite weak. I am not convinced of what his character’s motivations are in doing what he does on film. Could have I missed it on the last minutes of the previous installment? Not sure!
Tyrese Gibson does a great job of taking care of the funny one-liners in the film. He’s a natural. I responded very well to the brand of humor he has shown on this release.
I love what the makers have done for Paul Walker’s character. I am very certain it would please both the fans of the actor gone too soon and the franchise as well. The last minutes of the film which focused on what happens to his character tugs at the heartstrings. You might shed a tear or two. I’m just glad I had 3D glasses to rely on while all of these were happening. *sigh
Fast and the Furious 7 engages! There are no dull moments even if the screen time is more than two hours. I think it offers a good closure for all the characters if this is the last release of the franchise. Watching this flick equals to a weekend well-spent!
This is a 9/10 for me. (Riggy Aballe)
