MMFF 2015 posted on their Facebook page the combined box-office gross for the eight official entries a total ticket sales of P1.02 billion, this is from December 25, 2015 to January 7, 2016.
They did not give the ranking nor the individual box-office gross of the entries. The Top 4 Films, in no particular order are My Bebe Love, Beauty and the Bestie, Hauted Mansion and Walang Forever.
Star Cinema Ad Prom Director, Roxy Liquigan declared the box-office gross of Beauty and the Bestie on his Twitter account, “CONGRATULATIONS #BeautyAndTheBestie P428million!!! Still showing in 140 cinemas nationwide!”
However, as reported by “Balita Pilipinas” hosted by Mark Salazar and Maki Pulido by GMA New TV on January 4, “My Bebe Love” has earned ₱322 Million on the tenth day of the Festival.
Before the start of the MMFF 2015 movie screening, AlDub nation was so convinced that “My Bebe Love” will gross and surpass the top grossers of past MMFF’s films, and they are very determined to achieve the ₱1Billion goal, as posted on Blogjob.ph. But they were not able to hit their target and seems to be quiet at the moment.

Considering that there are 8 movies in the festival, hitting the ₱300+M mark is not bad at all. Still, congratulations AlDub Nation! “My Bebe Love,” the first movie of together of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, is still considered a hit, their movie even broke the history of MMFF opeding day box office record with ₱60M.
