2016 Filipino Films in the Box Office | Hits and Flops

Good news for the local movie industry! 2016 boasted depth and variety of movies up to now!

Vice Ganda-Coco Martin starrer “The Super Parental Guardians” produced by Star Cinema made it to the top list of this year’s Highest Grossing Films of 2016 which is also the highest-grossing Pinoy Film of all time with a record of ₱ 550 million box office gross shown in a regular season beating its own record in 2015’s “Beauty And The Bestie.”

“The Super Parental Guardians’s” rival, APT Entertainment, M-Zet Productions and OctoArts Films’ “Enteng Kabisote 10: And The Abangers” pitted on the box office, both movies opened in Philippine cinemas on November 30, failed to make it to the list of this year’s Box Office list.

The children’s uncle, Paco, has no choice but to join this newfound family. Arci and Paco will now embark on the craziest and greatest adventure of their lives as they play the roles of Momshie and Popshie to both Megan and Ernie.
