Although the requel of “Encantadia” is finally over, the fantaserye itself starts on slaying overseas.
Based on the report aired by “24 Oras” on May 25, the hit Kapuso series was able to grab an award at the recently conluded Apollo Awards, held in Singapore.
According to the newscast, “Encantadia” won the Best Visual Effects award under Apollo’s Long Form Category. It bested two finalists, “M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story” and “Housefull 3”, which were both produced in India.
This is the first international recognition received by “Encantadia” and Senior Program Manager Helen Rose Sese was the one who accepted the award.
The Apollo Awards started in 2005. It’s aim is to honor the best production and post-production across the Asia Pacific Region.
