- Rocco Nacino claims his Twitter account got hacked after he allegedly liked an Instagram post with negative comment on Alden Richards.
- He got bashed by netizens because they couldn’t believe his Twitter account was hacked simply because the account was verified.
Netizens got surprised when they saw that actor Rocco Nacino’s Instagram account allegedly liked a post with negative comments on fellow Kapuso artist Alden Richards.
Coincidentally, the actor posted on Twitter about someone trying to hack his account. He wrote: “Huh! What’s happening? I think I have to change my password. Stop trying to hack my account you bastards.”
However, some netizens weren’t totally convinced. One netizen even wrote: “Bes, may blue check na ‘yung account mo. Paano ka maha-hack?.”
Nacino didn’t specify which particular social media account was on the brink of being hacked. Prior to the hacking issue on Nacino’s account, his Instagram account liked a post with negative comments about Alden Richards.
Aside from liking the said post, Nacino also had a post on his Instagram story which made his account all the more credible that it’s truly identified with him.
However, contrary to most people’s beliefs, according to the web experts, the verification badge on Twitter isn’t a guarantee that an account can’t be hacked. All the badge does is for people to easily identify the account, but doesn’t necessarily guarantee that someone can’t share your name or impersonate you.
If it’s really Rocco who made the said like, is it because he’s insecure of Alden?
It will be recalled that the two actors started in showbusiness via “Starstruck Season V,” with Rocco emerging as the Second Prince (runner-up) while Alden only made it to the Top 60. But nowadays, Alden’s made it bigger than Rocco did. Alden is the other half of the phenomenal love team, AlDub—with Maine Mendoza.
