Did GMA News and Public Affairs accidentally post the wrong rating of Heart Evangelista’s “Follow Your Heart”?
On their Twitter page, GMA News and Public Affairs on Thursday, June 15, 2017 posted the comparative ratings of Heart Evangelista hosted show “Follow Your Heart” versus its competitor.
On the ratings card, @GMA_pa posted 7.0% ratings of “Follow Your Heart” for June 4, 2017 beating rivals “Bet On Your Baby’s” 4.4% and “TV Patrol’s” 4.7%.
But that tweet didn’t escape the scrutinizing eyes of Netizen Beta Blocker (@your_high_dose). Together with a screenshot of AGB Nielsen’s comparative ratings on June 4, she asked GMA News and Public Affairs where did they got the 7.0% ratings of “Follow Your Heart” when it is 4.6% that is showing on PEP.
Seeing GMA PA’s rating card also showed that they also got it wrong for “TV Patrol” and “Bet On Your Baby”. GMA PA’s numbers put “Baby On Your Baby” at 4.4% and “TV Patrol” with 4.7% while AGB numbers released by PEP showed Bet On Your Baby at 3.8% and TV Patrol with 4.4%.
Another netizen has also called on GMA PA to be truthful in releasing number because their network is advocating the “Dapat Tama” campaign.
Twitter user @KzKzmae who admitted to be a Kapuso fan said “GMA po ako pero ayaw ko ang maling balita! Doon lang po tayo sa tama #TadhanaBiyahero“.
While @itzme_ako twits GMA PA for gambling their credibility for Heart Evangelista.
“Lol, pati ba nmn RATING, fake din. @gmanews @gmanetwork itataya nyo talaga CREDIBILITY nyo pr kay Hibang? Ang galing magmagic ng ADMIN,” she said.
LionhearTV is trying to get the side of @GMA_PA but as of press time they still haven’t answered.
