They say when one closes a door, you open a window. This is how stand-up comedian Super Tekla tried to cope up with the situation he’s involved with. He tried to see the good in leaving the game show, “Wowowin,” the show he considered his second home and his biggest break on his career to date.
The stand-up comedian was allegedly fired from ‘Wowowin’ after TV host and producer, Willie Revillame learned about his bad vices such as using illegal drugs as written by Lolit Solis in her column in a broadsheet.
Super Tekla was one of the many talents who had received so much help from the said game show. Prior to his vices, Willie got so fond of him because he was a natural comedian who would make the audience laugh because of his great timing and sense of humor.
So it wasn’t surprising when he became popular and even had his life featured in one of the episode for the GMA 7 drama antohology, “Magpakailanman.”
But as life would have it, you would only learn to appreciate something once it slips off your hand. Super Tekla had wasted the opportunity that was given to him. Perhaps, it’s too late now to regret things, because no matter what he does, he can’t turn back the time he had wasted.
Super Tekla sadly thanked everyone on his Facebook account.
He asked for everyone’s forgiveness including that of Revillame’s. He also asks for continued support for “Wowowin” and for his own career too. He acknowledges the game show for helping him to be where he is now, as far as his career is concerned. He also promised that he will continue to make people happy for as long as he is still accepted and loved by his audience.
Tekla also confirmed that indeed, his journey in “Wowowin” has come to an end. While he thanked everyone, he only had good words for Willie and wrote “Kung iaalis mo ang poot at galit sa puso mo, pagpapalain ka ng Diyos. Maraming salamat Boss Will. More power and God bless us all!”
