- “Kita Kita” blockbuster stars Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez received P1 million each as bonus from producer Piolo Pascual
- The film earned a whopping P210 million in just two weeks
“Kita Kita” made hearts both happy and broken at the same time. Thanks to the incredible and surprising chemistry of Empoy (Tonyo) and Alessandra de Rossi (Lea).
The romantic-comedy movie became a hit which it owes mostly from positive reviews and recommendations from people who have seen the movie.
As of this week, reports confirmed that it already earned P210 million and even the cast are overwhelmed.
May numbers bang ganu’n?” Alessandra said.
She also thanked the brains of “Kita Kita” because if it weren’t for them, they wouldn’t have created a beautiful movie that made a huge impact on its viewers.
Alex recounted how their tandem ‘AlEmpoy’ was brought to life. According to her, their chemistry was based on the special things they can do only with each other.
“So, I think nag-blend lang talaga lahat ‘yung Chemistry.”
As incentives for a job well done, executive producer Piolo Pascual gave both Empoy and Alex a bonus of P1 million each. He recognized that the key to their movie’s success was ‘word of mouth’ and acknowledging what people really like.
