It seemed that ABS-CBN has conquered all platforms of media as it dominated not only the television, print and radio, but also in social media.
ABS-CBN not only lead viewership in television but also has a commanding lead in all social media platforms. Based on the latest data gathered through the SocialBakers website, an online social media analytics tool, ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries led the pack among media companies in the Philippines.
In Facebook, ABS-CBN commands the highest number of fans/likes totaling 15.4million (15,448,520) followed closely by GMA Network with 15.1million (15,071,934) fans/likes. ABS-CBN News department’s Facebook page, on the other hand, is at number 3 with 14.2million(14,199,784).
Aside from ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN News, another ABS-CBN company, MYX Philippines also figured in the top 10 at number 6. MYX PH has a total of 6.9million (6,910,189 fans/likes

For Twitter, ABS-CBN also lead the rankings with MYX Philippines leading at 6.1million (6,152,602) followers. Followed by ABS-CBN News with 5.5million (5,477,018) followers and wrapping up the top 3 is GMA News with 5.3millions (5,258,649) followers.
The quickest source of latest/breaking news and trends, Twitter is instrumental in shaping public opinions and pulses. Thus, ABS-CBN’s achievement in leading the rankings of most followed media company is one feat that is surely notable.

Aside from Facebook and Twitter, Youtube also plays an important role in building a brand. Its vitality is very significant in shaping trends in local media. And again, ABS-CBN ruled in this social media platform.
ABS-CBN Entertainment overwhelmingly led the ranking for the highest number of views at 9billion (9,043,931,999) with 6.2million (6,245,647) subscribers. Following in far second is GMA Network’s Youtube channel with 2.9billion (2,888,2635,238) views and 2.3million (2,300,075) subscribers. And on third is ABS-CBN News’ Youtube channel with 2.4billions (2,425,372,828) views and 3.1million (3,103,626) subscribers.

Instagram, on the other hand, is no different as ABS-CBN also leads the photo sharing app via the ABS-CBN news Instagram account.
Among Philippine media companies, ABS-CBN leads the pack with 815K followers followed by two GMA network accounts GMA Network and GMA News. GMA Network which is the Kapuso entertainment account got 793K followers while GMA News got 715K followers.
Meanwhile, aside from social media rankings, ABS-CBN also lead PH media companies in the top websites list.
According to website ranking site Alexa.com, ABS-CBN.com is the most viewed PH media website, ranking number 3 in the Philippines. ABS-CBN.com is just below Google.com.ph and Youtube.com in the Top Philippine Website rankings.
Other media companies included in the top 10 are Inquirer.net at number 7 and gmanetwork.com at number 9.

No doubt ABS-CBN has really mastered its strategy in getting Filipinos ‘kiliti’ and attention not only in television broadcasting but also in social media where millennial netizens are more often hooked.
With ABS-CBN leading the pack, they can really claim that they are the number one media company in the country.
