More Filipinos nationwide instantly fell in love with the story of eternal life and love in “The Promise of Forever” as the Kapamilya series starring Ejay Falcon, Ritz Azul, and Paulo Avelino recorded high national TV ratings and beat its rival program.
The series’ pilot episode last Monday (Sep 11) recorded a national TV rating of 18.4%, compared to “Haplos” with only 15.6%, according to data from Kantar Media. More viewers also continued to tune in to the Kapamilya series on Tuesday (Sep 12) as it scored 18.1%, compared to its rival program that only got 16.7%.
Netizens were also captivated by the series, which led the list of trending topics online and garnered thousands of tweets.
“It was only the first episode and yet it already made a mark! For sure many will watch out for this and I am one of them,” said @Sandiefandalio1.
