The Queen of All Media has her business engagements and brand partners in her own online company. However, rumors still lurk in the shadows that Kris Aquino may go back to being on television.
Although, Kris mentioned that she will stay realistic and understand that returning to TV would be a risk. She also added that she now has more than twenty endorsements.
“You know what, I’m realistic kasi it’s a risk for any network to take me on kasi naman baka pag-initan pa sila, so okay na! I had this discussion with my sisters nung tinatanong nila ako, ‘Have you really adjusted?’ Sabi ko, ‘You know, the only thing that made me feel that life is so okay is because we now have 22 endorsements and more.”
Moreover, Kris also believes that the door to returning to television has already closed.
“Kaya naniniwala talaga ako na, when a door is closed, something else opens talaga. And totoo naman talaga. Sabi ko, I would have really felt so awful kung ‘yun ‘yung nawala, Kasi ‘yun ‘yung ‘pinundar ko — based on your credibility, believability and likeability mo, diba? Kaya ka nga kinukuha, eh.”
Kris, shared she still stays in touch with Cory Vidanes, Chief Operating Officer of broadcast for ABS-CBN.
“I don’t think there will be kasi nagko-communicate naman kami ni Tita Cory. So kung mayroon, edi ang dali naman, diba? As it is, right now, I don’t believe in closing any doors. Pero I also believe na ngayong naumpisahan ko ito. Bakit hindi ko pa pababayaan? Akin na ito, eh. So aalagaan ko talaga ito.”
