The Bianca Umali and Miguel Tan Felix series recorded higher rating than the Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla show.
The official Twitter account of GMA Drama shared the good news and thanked the viewers for the growing support.
“Maraming salamat sa panunuod ng
#KambalKaribal,” the caption read.
The show recorded higher ratings for two consecutive episodes of January 15-16 2018. With 10.5 rating, “Kambal, Karibal” edged the “La Luna Sangre” with only 10.4 share. On the next day, the difference became bigger with almost one point higher than the rival show.
GMA Network’s creative writer Suzette Doctolero took to Twitter to express her joy the high rating of the Kapuso show.
“Salamat mga kapuso! Congrats Kambal Katibal team! Go go go,” Suzette wrote.
The latest episodes of the teleserye stirred up the curiosity of viewers on what is next on the life of Crisanta (Bianca Umali) after her twin Criselda (Pauline Mendoza) finally invaded the body of Cheska (Kyline Alcantara).
This starts the main plot of the story wherein Crisan and Crisel will fight each other for the love of Diego (Miguel Tanfelix).
“Kambal, Karibal” also features Gloria Romero, Christopher de Leon, Carmina Villaroel, Jean Garcia, Alfred Vargas and Marvin Agustin.
