Manila Water has released a revised water interruption scheme in the household of east concession zone. Starting March 14 and 15, the clients would experience 6 to 18 hours of no water service every day and may last throughout the summer season.
Accordingly, the daily water rotation will supply Manila Water’s 27 reservoirs that will be refilled in order to provide supply, especially to those who experience no water supply for a week. The service provider then asked for consideration while they are implementing the needed adjustments, due to the lack of water supply.
However, water is one of the basic needs and it can’t be denied that many will be frustrated of the inconvenience that it gives. One of those who reacted to the interruption was comedy queen Ai-Ai delas Alas when she posted a sarcastic statement to express her frustration on her Instagram account.
It was captioned, “Lakas maka 4th world na hehe — hay naku ang pilipinas nateng mahal ano na nga..”
In her post, she stated that the Philippines is trying to resemble a 4th world state of condition, described as the most poverty-stricken, and economically troubled countries.
Some netizens somewhat agree with her comment as they also gave their sentiments while others just found it funny.
