Ryan Agoncillo said that he and fiancee Judy Ann Santos almost broke up.
But the actor and TV host was quick to clarify that this took place after a major fight during the first year of their relationship.
During “The Buzz’s Tough 10 Questions” Sunday, Agoncillo confessed that “the first year of our relationship was very rocky.” He added that it was even tougher for him because his girlfriend is a superstar.
“Ang love mahirap pagtapos na ang honeymoon stage. Nandiyan na ‘yong magkaka-kilanlan kayo and it is even tougher that my GF is the young superstar,” he said.
He recalled that during those times, both he and Santos had to find out whether they were really in love with each other or their feelings were borne out of proximity.
“It was very hard. There are some things that you have to determine kung totoo o hindi… so pilit kaming hindi nagtrabaho for a year together para malaman namin na hindi lang dahil araw-araw kaming magkasama sa set,” he added.
The two are schedule to tie the knot next year. The couple first worked together and eventually fell in love on the set of the fantaserye “Krystala” back in 2005.
