Perci Intalan, TV5 head of creative and entertainment production, showed the press people what TV5 has got for its viewers for 2012. Two of the projects that catches my attention are the “Dance Nation” and the “Kanta Pilipinas“.
A sneak peek of “Dance Nation” was shown during the TV Christmas Party with the Press people, depicting a huge group of people dancing in open spaces. “Dance Nation” which is produced in South America will involve entire communities in the Philippines.
“Mula naman sa South America, may isa pa kaming reality show na napakalaki. Lilibutin ng TV5 ang buong Pilipinas next year para sa pinakamalaking dance-off sa telebisyon [ang Dance Nation]. A unique dance show called,” said by Mr. Intalan.
“Hindi lang yan ang dahilan kung bakit iikot kami. Dahil kung magaling tayo sumayaw, di hamak ang galing nating mga Pilipino ay kilala sa kantahan. Magkakantahan na tayo para sa “Kanta Pilipinas“. Ito ay original format wherein we will go to all parts of the country.
“Kanta Pilipinas” is a search for new singing stars to be conducted all over the Philippines.
He said 2011 has been “a very good year” for the network, with more programs and exclusive contract stars for 2012.
