Barbie finally arrived in the Philippines through BARBIE Magazine, under ABS-CBN Publishing, Inc. The maiden issue will be released this month, dubbed as the Fun 1st Issue. ABS-CBN Publishing, Inc., the home of nationwide-praised magazines such as “The Buzz”, “K Magazine”, “Chalk” and many others, brought out the BARBIE Magazine to cater and inspire the minds and creativity of young Filipino girls.

With its first issue, BARBIE Magazine will share fun facts about Barbie and introduce its readers, may be young and young-at-heart, to the most important people in Barbie’s life – her sisters and friends.

Issue no. 1 will also feature a short story about Barbie’s love for fashion and another about Barbie’s journey to become a great band singer. Wall Posters, Stickers, Puzzles, Spot-the-Difference, and Mazes are also packed inside the magazine that will tickle the imagination of young readers. This will also encourage young girls to use their creativity.

Barbie is a fashion doll manufactured by American toy-company Mattel, Inc. and launched the very first Barbie doll on March 9, 1959. For over 50 years, Barbie has inspired girls all over the world to be as fabulous as they can be. Driven by the goal of bringing dreams closer to young girls, Mattel, Inc. continuously produced Barbie dolls.

BARBIE Magazine, like the Barbie dolls, aims to inspire young girls to never stop dreaming and dream as big as they can. The maiden issue will surely guarantee a fun-packed read with Barbie, her sisters and her friends.
