His debut single Ikaw Lang is a proof of his gratitude to all the friends, who have supported him all these years.
The single will be available for download this Friday, October 12 at www.mymusicstore.com.ph and Itunes.
Produced by platinum producer Ito Rapadas, Kimpoy’s rendition of Ikaw Lang is a sincere, straightforward take on the Chad Borja hit.
“I am in awe. I can’t believe it,” said Kimpoy when asked how he felt when he heard the single. “Nakakatuwa. Hanggang ngayon, hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na may single na ako at lalabas na rin ang album.”
Kimpoy adds how thankful he is to Universal Records and Orion Entertainment for believing in his talents and producing the album. He also wants to give special shoutout to his producer Ito Rapadas for guiding him throughout the whole recording process.
“When I started recording, I was really nervous, pero buti nalang mabait at magaling si Sir Ito,” shared Kimpoy. “Pinaganda talaga namin ang Ikaw Lang at ang buong album na lalabas next month, so sana talaga ma-enjoy ng lahat kasi masayang-masaya din kami, lalo na ako, nung ginawa namin ang album.”
