June 25, 2014 (QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES) – After the ‘Wedding of the Year’ between “Magkaribal” sub-titled version’s characters Bea Alonzo (Gelay) and Derek Ramsay (Louie) gets cancelled, the scenes intensify as most revelations are unveiled this month on TFC worldwide.
On the first week of the episodes this July (July 5 worldwide, July 6 Pacific time) Gelay (Bea Alonzo) starts to suspect that Vera is just pretending to be financially distraught which is also Gelay’s father Mang Hermes’ (John Arcillo) suspicion. Moreover, Gelay’s partner Mark Laurel’s (Edward Mendez) cover is blown and Victoria (Gretchen Barretto) takes advantage of the situation by having all traces of his involvement with the Metro Fashion Wear show erased.
More revelations are unveiled as Gelay’s friend Gigi (Bianca Manalo) overhears Vera and Victoria talking, fanning more of Gelay’s suspicion. Moreover, Vera’s former assistant Donna (Nina Rici Alagao) discovers the truth about Gelay and Victoria’s identity which Vera has been keeping for so long. Meantime, Mark is also forced to reveal his true accomplice. The episode airs July 12 (July 13 Pacific time).
The following week on July 19 (July 20 Pacific time), Mark seeks Gelay’s forgiveness while the young designer packs her things at the atelier. She wants to back out from the fashion show as well but she is tied with the contract she signed with famed magazine Metro. In this week, Gelay’s friend Caloy (Enchong Dee) also asks Chloe (Erich Gonzales) for another chance.
Finally on the last week (July 26 on TFC worldwide, July 27 Pacific time), Vera finds out that Donna is now working for Victoria and warns her former assistant. In a more interesting turn of events, Louie (Derek Ramsay), the man who came between the estranged sisters, is offered the chance to sell out his fight in exchange for money. Wanting to help Gelay and make amends, he accepts the offer and gives her the money. Will Gelay accept the offer? More importantly, how will she be able to pull off the fashion show with less of the money and more of the pain hounding her?
