A bit of controversial, his badboy looks does not deny him of his talent in film-making as he entered the Marilou Diaz-Abaya Film Institute. He was mentored by the likes of Laurice Guillen, Mark Meily, the late Johnny Delgado and the acclaimed director Marilou Diaz-Abaya herself. Rafa ‘s passion won’t stop him that he could someday make a movie in Cinemalaya.
