AlDub tops Asia’s Twitter history, sixth worldwide beating Ellen, Obama and One Direction

The phenomenal September 19, 2015 episode of Eat Bulaga’s segment “Kalyeserye”, the experimental love team has again breaks it’s own record with an overwhelming 12 million tweets trending in one day, topping the all time Twitter record history in whole of Asia, while ranking third all over the world.

According to, the most tweeted hashtag which got to its top spot was #vote5sos which is a voting activity of a music awards where they garnered 78 million tweets as votes in equivalence then #BRAvGER with 35.6m, followed by #sb49 with 28 million.




It was no surprise the the said sport is a traditional favorite of people all over the world, especially to European and latin countries.
