Is there an ongoing throne wars between Richard Gutierrez and Derek Ramsay? Who is the rightful King of Kapatid Network?
Lately there have been rumors that Derek Ramsey laments the fact that he’s getting less exposure in his home network. This builds up even more when Richard Gutierrez enters the picture and is set to do one of “Da King,” Fernando Poe Jr. famous character which is Panday, to be directed by Direk Carlo J. Caparas.
During the Follow Me 5 Trade Launch of TV 5 weeks ago, the Kapatid network showcases the shows that will be featured for 2016 and it is very noticeable how Richard Gutierrez’s Panday has the biggest production of them all. Which reliable source says has irked Derek Ramsey.
Derek just signed a three year contract with TV 5 last April. He was supposed to do a series with Claudine Barretto but he turned down the offer and it will be up to the network whether to go on with this series or not. But Derek should be thankful as he still has other show and with Viva Films and Mr. Vic del Rosario being part of the creative team I don’t think Derek will be left behind.
So for now who is the rightful King of TV 5 will probably be decided next year.
