Unluckily, Miss USA 2015, 2nd Runner-up, Olivia Jordan did not escape from the bashers hate from the controversial Miss Universe 2015 winners outcome.
It all started when the pageant host Steve Harvey went back to the stage to announce that he made a mistake on announcing the real winner and that Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach should be crowned as the Miss Universe 2015 not Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez, it was then that the viewer allegedly, saw the reaction of Miss USA who was beside Miss Wurtzbach .
The netizens allegedly saw Miss USA laughing on the event’s gaffe.
Miss USA Olivia Jordan used the social media to relay and explain her side of the story, how these netizens started bullying her and her family. She was very sad, hurt and disappointed on how some netizens continuously doing this sort of thing.
Posting her message on her Instagram account, “Spread so much love that there is no room for hate.“ I’m deeply saddened at how many people choose to be negative and hateful on social media.
“I am used to having people throw shade my way, but now people are threatening my FAMILY who are literally the most kind hearted people on the planet.
“They have nothing to do with any of this and deserve to be left alone.”
She strongly denied the allegation and said , “For the record, I didn’t laugh at anyone in the pageant.” “I reacted to an uncomfortable and bizarre situation by seeing the positive.
“If I had been standing next to Miss Colombia, I would have grabbed her and cried for her and the injustice that occurred”, “Instead, I was standing next to the winner and had the bizarre opportunity to tell her that she was the new Miss Universe.”
“I wasn’t going to cry as I congratulated Pia, she deserved happiness and celebration for her victory.”
Miss Jordan also said that she approached Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez right after the pageant. She also added that she hugged Miss Colombia immediately after she exited the stage and she told her that she truly believes that Miss Gutierrez has bigger things in store her , and adding” The Universe has bigger plan for that beauty! Olivia said.
“So please just stop threatening my family ” she added, directing her message to her online bashers. “And as many times as you tell me, I’m not going to kill myself and the fact that you can even write that to another person makes me very sad for you.”
Olivia also gave this message of advise on her Instagram ;
“And to all the incredible supporters throughout this situation, please simply report the hateful comments, don’t give them the satisfaction of responding and getting sucked into their hatred, let’s stay positive.
