Before the year ends, UNIQLO unveils the new Star Wars UT Collection in the Philippines. In time for the exciting release of one of the most highly anticipated movie of the year, “Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens.” UNIQLO released limited edition t-shirts that features designs and graphics Star Wars-inspired shirts.
These limited edition pieces perfectly capture the Star Wars craze that has been going on since the first installment of the film. The collection features new characters in the film franchise such as BB-8 and Captain Phasma. Also includes in the collection are the iconic Star Wars characters like Darth Vader, Master Yoda, and Chewbacca.
Last December 16, 2015, UNIQLO arranged an advance screening of the seventh installment of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in Cinema 1 of SM Aura. The special screening is a way of giving back of UNIQLO to their loyal customers who bought the Star Wars UT collection the day they released the items.
Cosplayers dressed up as Star wars character were present in the event too to give additional effect to Star Wars fans. UNIQLO also gave away special Star Wars-designed tumblers with Star Wars character miniature on top and a popcorn to make the viewing relax and fun.
