Is it time for us to say goodbye to “Kris TV”?

The morning lifestyle talk show of Kris Aquino will go off air before February ends – according to veteran columnist Aster Amoyo in her Rated A column at Pilipino Star Ngayon dated February 14, 2016.

Even if her show will end, Kris will have a new show with radio journalist and TV host Anthony Taberna.

It must be noticed that “KrisTV” has been airing replay episodes for the past few days; many thought it must be because Kris got sick after her vacation from Bangkok. But the Queen of All Media was also very quiet in the social media platform and she’s unlikely to not post anything in her Instagram account for two weeks.

But last February 9, Kris posted on her IG.

My story & my explanation. On www.withlovekrisaquino.com. Please take time to read?

“My story and my explanation. On www.withlovekrisquino.com. Please take time to read?”

In her blog, Kris explained why she have been quiet for two weeks. She said,

I purposely stayed away from social media (and yes, Kris TV went on Best Of for 8 episodes) because there were professional issues we needed to resolve, and Thank You, Lord—natuto na ko that by being outspoken and sharing details with all of you, mas hahaba ang proseso at mas malabong maayos sa mahinahon at mature na paraan.”

She also told of what goes on behind her professional life.

Viewers see the finished product, but you aren’t privy to the negotiations that go on behind the scenes for our contracts, most especially the minutest details in those agreements and the back and forth that is needed for all parties to feel they are benefiting from the union.”

It is a job, it is a profession, it is a business- but it is unique in that all of you our viewers are stakeholders.

Kris also apologized to her fans and followers.
