Some fans of one of the most popular TV shows, “On The Wings Of Love”, are up in arms about the possibility of a sad ending for Clark (James Reid) and Leah (Nadine Lustre). The fans have become more jittery after the teaser which ABS-CBN released recently.
The teaser is titled “On The Wings Of Love: Love Will Lead You Back For A Different Reason”. The line “for a different reason” scares some die-hard fans of the show who want a happy ending for James and Nadine’s characters.

Fans have been watching the show religiously and like with other TV shows, the OTWOListas hope that their favorite show will have a fairy tale ending. But the teaser seems to suggest the opposite.
The controversial teaser shows Clark and Leah bumping into each other in the same street corner in San Francisco where they first met. They look at each other for a few seconds, then Simon (Paulo Avelino) appears out of nowhere, and takes Leah with him. A sad-looking Clark is left behind. As they continue to walk in opposite directions, Clark and Leah look back at each other, a mixture of emotions showing on both their faces.
OTWOL viewers have their different interpretations about the teaser. Some fans said that it’s obvious that Leah and Clark will break up. But will Leah end up with Simon (Paulo Avelino) in the end? Judging from the way Simon veered Leah away from Clark , it’s as if he “owns” Leah.
But the more obvious question that begs an answer is, why will Leah and Clark separate at all?
The speculations about the reasons for the impending “separation” abound. Some say that maybe, Leah will choose her career over Clark. Or because of Clark’s insecurity with Simon (Paulo Avelino), Clark would break up with Leah.
Fans are worried that OTWOL’s ending might disappoint them. and have been expressing their opinions on social media. The dedication and emotions of the OTWOL viewers are amazing. On The Wings Of Love really hit the jackpot, but they really have to be careful, their viewers are very touchy and emotional about how the fate of the characters will turn out.
Eric John Salut of ABS-CBN has interacted with OTWOL fans on social media regarding their complaints and mild bashing regarding the plot of the latest episodes of OTWOL. He told fans that writers have creative license and that OTWOL is a teleserye. Meaning, twists are to be expected.
Some OTWOL fans are already not happy with the introduction of a third party (Simon), just when the series is about to end. But others say that people have to tone down their reactions. The show has given them great episodes and plot twists and fans should have faith in its writers. For sure, OTWOL won’t disappoint their avid supporters and that fans just have to patiently wait and hope for the best.
Some fans though, are not really worried at all. They are holding on to what JaDine said recently in an interview featured on Umagang Kay Ganda.
JaDine revealed that OTWOL fans will be treated to a big surprise. Though the ending is “secret”, Nadine said, “Yung twist na magaganap sobrang lala” (The twist that will happen is too intense). Add to that her previous statement two weeks ago in an interview with MJ Felipe wherein she said, “Si direk kasi gusto niya happy ending kaya excited na ako makita yung happy ending na iyon…” (Direk wants a happy ending, that’s why I’m excited to see that happy ending.)
So, JaDine and OTWOL fans, stay calm. Just take those hints from JaDine themselves and expect a beautiful finale for OTWOL.
