“Pangako Sa ‘Yo” hits new all-time high rating; gives a solid 25-point lead over “That’s My Amboy”

It’s finally payback time for Amor (Jodi Sta. Maria) in the top-rating series “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” as she is set to seek revenge for the death of her son, who was unmercifully killed by her nemesis Claudia (Angelica Panganiban).

Angelo and Yna suffer after finding out they are siblings

On the last three days of the series, Claudia finds herself trapped in her own web of lies as she faces the wrath of her own family for pretending to have not recovered from amnesia.

Inevitably, Yna (Kathryn Bernardo) and Angelo (Daniel Padilla) are also expected to find out that they are not real siblings, since the latter’s real father is Simon (Alex Medina) and not Eduardo (Ian Veneracion) – a truth Claudia has managed to hide from her family.

After hurting and manipulating the people around her, including her children, is there still room for forgiveness for Claudia?

Will Yna and Angelo finally get their shot at happily ever after?

The breathtaking scenes in “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” have gripped viewers nationwide, even pushing the program to record a new all-time high national TV rating of 42.7% on Tuesday night (Feb 9), a solid 25-point lead over GMA’s “That’s My Amboy” that only got 17%, according to data from Kantar Media.
