GMA Network continues to lead in NUTAM Ratings for the month of February 2016.
According to the overnight data by AGB-Nielsen covering February 21-29, 2016, GMA Network outshines rival TV stations in the National Urban TV Audience Measurement (NUTAM).
For February 2016, GMA Network scores success in both daytime and primetime blocks. GMA Network registered 33% household shares in the daytime block in NUTAM, .5% higher than ABS-CBN’s 32.5%. TV5 on the other hand had an average rating of 10.6%.
During primetime, GMA Network again beats rival ABS-CBN and TV5 with 38.9% compared to ABS-CBN and TV5’s 35.7% and 7.1 % respectively.
GMA Network also rules both Urban Luzon and Mega Manila households. In Urban Luzon GMA Network beats ABS-CBN by 7.1% at 40.1% compared to ABS-CBN’s 33% and 33.1% higher than TV5’s 7%. For Mega Manila which is known GMA Network bailiwick, the Kapuso network scores 41.7% while ABS-CBN and TV5 got 30.2% and 7.4% respectively.
Leading GMA Network shows in the February 2016 NUTAM ratings is Pilipinas Debates 2016 which got a total of 24.8% household shares in NUTAM. Pilipinas Debates 2016 is the first of the 3 Presidential debate series mounted by COMELEC with GMA Network and the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
