Star Cinema’s “Just The 3 Of Us” will directly go head-to-head with Viva Films’ “This Time” as management decided to move the playdate of the John Lloyd-Jennylyn movie to May 4, from supposedly April 27.
This is the reason why the director of JaDine’s summer movie “This Time” has expressed his thoughts on the said clash on Philippine cinemas on Twitter. “Kailangan talaga makipagtapatan? Di ba pwedeng magtulungan na lang? #perapera”
Under the production of Star Cinema, “Just The 3 of Us” tells the story of a ground stewardess CJ (Jennylyn) and a pilot named Uno (John Lloyd). Meanwhile, “This Time” is produced by Viva Films, tells the story of two friends Ava (Nadine) and Coby (James) who only see each other during summertime.
We don’t exactly know what are the reasons for moving “Just The 3 Of Us” to May 4 but we hope for the best of these two movies.
Actually, the biggest threat to these two movies is “Captain America: Civil War” which just opened to over 200 cinemas nationwide.
