Today (September 28) is “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s” first anniversary on primetime television.
Since aired on September 28, 2015, the Coco Martin starrer teleserye has grabbed the attention of the Pinoy viewers and has reached 46.7%, the highest primetime rating recorded in many years. For one year, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” consistently gets the highest rating not just in Mega Manila or Urban Luzon, but in the whole Philippines, Urban and Rural.

The show was even reported as a big help to fight crime. According to Coco, during a taping for an episode of “Ang Probinsyano” at Camp Crame, a Colonel approached him and thanked him and the whole production staff. The Colonel said that whenever “Ang Probinsyano” airs on TV, the crime rate goes down.
With the success of his action-series, Coco continues to live up to his title as the Philippine’s Primetime King, no one else comes close.
“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” has beaten numerous Kapuso series including “Little Nanay,” “Marimar,” “That’s My Amboy,” and now “Encantadia.”
