GMA Network reports “My Bebe Love” breaks MMFF record with ₱60M first day gross
Eventhough his movie failed to make it on this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF 2016) Magic 8, the movie still made it big and already broke record of the highest first day gross in local cinema.
Despite the success, there’s no need for Vice to do sour graping. “Sa kalagitnaan ng tagumpay na ito, ayoko nang magmaasim pa. ‘Di ba wala nang dahilan para umasim at magyabang ka pa? Ngumiti na lang tayo,” he said.
When asked about his message to the new MMFF, Vice can’t help but also address some critics calling some movies “basura.”
