After playing a vengeful husband in the recently concluded primetime series “Magpahanggang Wakas,” John Estrada returns to television to portray a soldier fighting his toughest battle in life— being both a father and a mother to his children— this Saturday (Jan 21) in “MMK.”
Recho (John) is a brave and hardworking soldier serving in the Philippine Army, and a benevolent father to his two children, Angelique (Jane de Leon) and Lorenz (Bugoy Carino). Even though it is hard for him to juggle his duties as a soldier and as the head of his family, he tries his best to be there for his children.
His life suddenly changes, however, when his marriage falls apart and he becomes a single father to his young girl and boy. How will Recho balance his military life and domestic life? Can he handle being both a dad and a mom to his children?
Joining this “MMK” episode are Jerome Ponce, Rochelle Barrameda, , Marilyn Villamayor, Ronnie Quizon, Erin Ocampo, Jomari Angeles , Manuel Chua, Marco Masa, Miel Espinoza, and Alex Castro. The episode is directed by Frasco Mortiz and written by Arah Badayos and Akeem Del Rosario. “MMK” is led by Star Creatives COO Malou Santos.
