From their “Juan Happy Love Story” series, the Heart Evangelista-Dennis Trillo tandem will continue on GMA Network’s another take of their classic fantaserye “Mulawin.”
Dennis was part of the original cast of “Mulawin” as Gabriel. Meanwhile, Heart proudly announced her inclusion in the said Kapuso fantaserye on Twitter, “Abangan ang pag lipad ko this 2017 🎬❤️”
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid will also be joining her first full-length fantaserye. Joining them are Kapuso love teams Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali; Derrick Monasterio and Bea Binene. Also part of the stellar cast members are Kapuso actors Dion Ignacio, Chynna Ortaleza, Wyn Marquez, Kiko Estrada, and Roi Vinzon.
Under the helm of directors Dominic Zapata and Don Michael Perez, “Mulawin versus Ravena” narrates the story of fictional winged humanoids. The Mulawin race must protect the mortals against the evil race Ravena who wants to rule the land.
“Mulawin” originally aired in August 2004 starring Angel Locsin, Dennis Trillo, and Richard Gutierrez. The show garnered high ratings during its entire run until March 2005. The success of “Mulawin” spawned a movie and spinoffs such as “Encantadia” and “Iglot.”
