LizQuen’s “My Ex and Whys” hits ₱31.5 million on its opening day

Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil’s third movie together as leads “My Ex and Why’s” made a whooping ₱31.5 million on its first day at the box office nationwide.

The announcement was made via their official social media accounts on Wednesday (February 15) night.

On Instagram, Liza can’t help but say ‘thank you’ to all those who supported their movie. She wrote, “Thank you lord 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thank you to everyone who watched #MyExAndWhys I love you guys so much ❤❤❤”

Meanwhile, Enrique echoed Liza’s post, “Maraming maraming salamat mga kapamilya for all the love!! spread the love and watch my ex and why’s love you all ❤❤❤”

My Ex and Whys

Directed by “Forevermore” director Cathy Garcia-Molina, “My Ex And Whys” follows the story of a former playboy (Gil) trying to prove to his ex-girlfriend (Soberano) that he’s a changed man.

Since the movie started good in the box office, we’re expecting additional theaters in the coming days for “My Ex And Whys” from the initial 250 theaters nationwide.
