Lauren Young comments on ABS-CBN: “That was my first home”

Lauren Young recently signed a three-year contract with GMA Network. Formerly a talent of ABS-CBN, Young revealed why she has chosen to remain a solid Kapuso.

“The work is consistent,” she exclaimed.

Young also explained, “You know, I will never, ever say anything bad about ABS-CBN because that was my first home.”

“That’s where I learned how to act and learned how to do everything that I know now,” she added.

The actress also revealed that she enjoys working at the Kapuso network.

“I feel like this is where I need to be right now and this is where I’m comfortable right now.”

Almost a year since she did a major project, Young is thankful that she has gotten to play an important role in another series.

The 23-year-old plays the role of Charie Evangelista in the Kapuso afternoon series “Legally Blind”. She is the sister of the main protagonist Grace Evangelista, played by another Kapuso actress Janine Gutierrez.
