Blogger Mocha Uson clarified on her Twitter account that she has no plan to run for a senatorial post.
On March 12, the former sex guru recalled an old issue of former BIR Commisioner Kim Henares about her involvement at the Mighty Corporation scandal.
A follower agreed to her post and said, “Tama po mam Mocha, takbo ka sa Senado. You are more deserving than the LP senators.”
The newly created account then used a hashtag #MochaForSenator.
However, the 34-year-old stressed she has no intention to run for senate.
“Naku wala po akong plano tumakbong Senador. Baka mamura ko lang yung mga bugok sa Senado na nagpapahirap sa atin,” she wrote.
Her statement received negative feedback from netizens, particularly on the Fashion Pulis blog site.
One netizen said: “Sa MTRCB nga hindi ka makapagsalita, sa Senado pa?”
Another one commented, “Bakit parang feeling ko inimbento lang ni mocha etong nagcomment na ito sa kanya… mocha.. paminsan minsan mag kape ka ng konti para kabahan ka naman…” To which a netizen agreed: “True. Karamihan ng mga nagti-tweet sa kanya mga trolls lang din nila mismo. Ha ha!”
Meanwhile, on Twitter, netizens criticized Mocha for citing a Wordpress blog as her source for her questionable post.
Twitter netizens also discouraged the controversial blogger to run for Senate.
