Noven Belleza’s performance on the grand finals of Tawag ng Tanghalan (TnT) was the talk of the town over the weekend. The 22-year-old belted out medley of Air Supply’s hits for his final performance.
On March 11, the Negros Occidental native won the competition that was held at Resorts World Manila.
His rendition was then uploaded to YouTube. It surprisingly caught the attention of Graham Russell, one-half of the soft rock duo from Australia.
The Air Supply member eventually congratulated the Bukid Boy Wonder for his win. Additionally, Graham sent his message through an e-mail sent to concert organizer Denee Samonte, one of the producers of their recent concert in the Philippines.
“I just saw the singing contest on YouTube and the guy that won. He was spectacular. Please pass on my congratulations to him if you would,” he wrote.
Noven won TnT after earning 99.96% score from combined voted of judges and viewers. He bested his fellow finalists Sam Mangubat and Froilan Canlas.
