Since he moved to ABS-CBN, Enzo Pineda was immediately appeared in various ABS-CBN projects.
The 26-year-old enjoyed the success of the defunct primetime series “Till I Met You” as one of its supporting characters and the action-comedy film “Extra Service”.
Now, Enzo will star as the main cast of Kapamilya network’s afternoon series “Pusong Ligaw”.
The actor was a Kapuso for almost seven years.
“I’m also taking a risk na lumipat,” he revealed.
Enzo also elaborated, “For me, it feels surreal. At the same time, ang laki rin ng pressure, lalo na if you’re somebody new in the network.
“Of course, you have to put your best foot forward all the time.
“Ako, I’m just really thankful to be here. I’m very happy na parte ako ng show na ‘to.”
Enzo then explained that he did not expect anything when he moved to ABS-CBN.
He explained, “Honestly, puwede naman pong mangyari na wala akong project.”
The now-Kapamilya also explained his fear upon transferring to the Kapamilya network.
“Siguro, when it comes to fear, ‘yun talaga ang puwedeng pinakamabigat na mangyari, kasi hit or miss po ito eh. May posibilidad na kapag lumipat ako, mawala ang career ko.”
But he clarified that it’s also a challenge to prove himself to Pinoy audience.
He further explained, “It’s actually a good thing. It’s also a challenge for us na i-step up pa yung acting game namin and work on pa talaga para mapatunayan namin ang sarili namin na karapat-dapat po kami mabigyan ng trabaho.
In the end, Enzo couldn’t help but to show his gratitude to ABS-CBN.
“We’re just really very thankful to be here. Grabe ang pressure, pero we’re just really thankful,” he said.
Enzo plays the role of Rafael Laurel in “Pusong Ligaw” which has aired on April 24. This would be his first Kapamilya series as the main cast.
