Meanwhile, Nantapech (22-3; 15KOs), also known as Eaktwan BTU Ruaviking of Thailand, is right on Nietes’ heels at fourth. Natapech is currently enjoying a 15 fight winning streak. This will be Nietes’ third championship should he win the fight. He is following in the footsteps of Filipino boxing greats, Sen. The bout will be co-headlined by up and coming boxer Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo’s (15-0; 11KOs) match against Tanzanian Issa Nempepeche (24-7-4; 11KOs).
