James Reid irks netizens for his absence in “It’s Showtime”

  • James Reid’s absence in “It’s Showtime” drew flak from netizens.
  • Vice Ganda jokingly greeted someone who was supposed to be James.
  • According to some fans, the actor got drunk; thus, he did not make it to the show.
  • Fans of “It’s Showtime” then appealed through social media to remove James from the show.

It seems like James Reid has irked the fans of the noontime show “It’s Showtime”!

Last Saturday, comedian Vice Ganda made a joke to actress Nadine Lustre, asking if she wanted to greet someone.

Vice quipped, “May babatiin din dapat si Nadine eh. Get well soon daw at pasok-pasok din daw ‘pag may time”.

The joke might be a normal one for others but the Unkabogable Superstar was obviously pertaining it to his “It’s Showtime” co-host James Reid, who they welcomed as one of the show’s hosts along with Nadine.

The fans of “It’s Showtime” felt disappointed towards the Kapamilya actor due to its absence on the show. He was supposedly going to do a production number with girlfriend Nadine.

Some of the fans assumed that the couple was partying the other night and the actor probably got drunk. On the other hand, some of them have showed their dismay in social media.

The call for James’ removal at the show was evident when fans bombarded the Instagram post of talent coordinator Evi Zapanta showing a photo of James. The production coordinator claimed that the actor was not feeling well.

However, fans expressed their skepticism and sarcastically commented that the actor got ‘sick’ because of hangover.

Meanwhile, James has yet to explain what really happened that night.
