Anne responded in a civil way but she defended her passion for singing despite negative feedbacks
32-year-old Kapamilya actress and host Anne Curtis backed herself up after one Twitter user referred to her voice as a “disgrace in the industry.” Instead of firing a disrespectful reply, Anne kept her cool on dealing with the basher.
Twitter user @katherine1470 replied to an article posted by PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) about Anne’s recollection of bashes for her hobby of singing.
The female host has long been vocal on her passion for singing. Despite not having the knack for it, Anne still pushes herself to improve her voice when performing at a concert or on TV.
In a previous interview with the press, Anne can be recalled boasting about her singing accomplishments.
“Pero pinursue ko pa rin ang dream ko na ‘yon, nakadalawang sold-out concerts ako.
“Naka-ano pa, triple platinum or double platinum award pa yata,” she shared.
Anne wrote a message on her Twitter account addressing who she calls her “DreamShamer,” saying that she will continue to sing because it makes her and her fans happy.
At the end of the day, the performer gains more supporters than bashers. And they are the reason why Anne keeps doing what she loves best. One thing is certain, Anne truly is an inspiration to those who dreams and make it happened, regardless of how people would react, what matters is, we follow our dreams-period.
