- Joyce Ching explained Kristoffer Martin’s side on transferring
- The young actress will be part of Maria Rivera’s new show
- She will undergo a workshop with professional acting teacher with other Kapuso stars
Kapuso actress Joyce Ching admitted she laughed-off when she got the chance to talk to ex-boyfriend Kristoffer Martin regarding his plans of transferring to other network.
In the recent Instagram post of the young actor, he shared the idea of leaving GMA Network for another.
Joyce and Kristoffer remained to be close even though their special relationship didn’t work out well.
The 22-year-old actress narrated that when they had conversation, she just asked Kristoffer if he’s already sure about this matter. “Sabi ko lang sakaniya, sure ka ba?”
But Joyce clarified that Kristoffer didn’t get to the point where he has already decided.
“Pero hindi naman talaga yung muntik na, na nandito na yung contract, hindi pinirmahan, hindi naman po ganun,” she explained to PEP.ph.
“Siguro nageexplore din siya kung saan siya mag wowork na mas maging okay ang career niya,” she added.
Joyce also shared that she also thought of the same thing many years ago.
“Ngayon, parang okay ako with GMA, okay rin ako sa kung paano nila i-handle yung career ko and loyalty pa din,” she pointed out.
Both Joyce and Kristoffer will be part of Marian Rivera’s upcoming primetime serye ‘Super Ma’am’ which will be launched by the last quarter of the year.
She will play the role of Dalikmata, an oracle which has a power.
“Mawawala yung power source ng mga uri naming mga Tamawo. So, ako para akong compass, alam ko kung saan nakatago yung mga sakras, yung mga power nay un,” Joyce explained.
“Depende po iyon kung sinong makakakuha sa akin, kung mapunta ako sa mga bad people magagamit pa rin nila yung power ko,” she answered when asked if her character will be good or bad.
Meantime, Joyce was one of the Kapuso stars who joined the acting workshop of the well-known New-York-based professional acting teacher Anthony Vincent Bova.
She is joined by Kristoffer Martin, Gil Cuerva, Gabbi Garcia, Mikee Quintos, Koreen Medina, Mikoy Morales, Diva Montelaba and Julie Anne San Jose in the morning session.
The three-day workshop of Mr. Bova will manage almost 46 GMA artists. Joyce shared excitement on the said workshop.
Aside from Anthony Bova, Eric Morris, Ana Feleo will also be there to facilitate the workshop. Morris is an acting teacher and actor who established the Eric Morris System, which is used by GMA Network’s previous workshops to further improve the skills of the kapuso stars. Ana Feleo is also one of GMA Artist Center’s acting facilitator.
“Kasi si Sir Anthony first hand niyang naexperience saka ang tagal niyang kasamang nagwowork si sir Eric, so excited po ako, siyempre sina Miss Ana. Tapos si Sir Anthony pa talagang galling sa New York, sa Broadway, so exciting,” she elaborated.
Joyce admitted that she really loves attending workshops.
“Kasi po strong believer ako na kailangan na ninu-nurture mo talaga, kailangan lagi kang nakakakuha ng fresh na input sa ibang tao. Pag nagwoworkshop ka kasi, different characters mo, different emotions talaga yung natatap kasi ini-explore talaga siya lahat,” she explained.
“Parang nakakaboost siya ng confidence,” she added.
Meanwhile, Joyce’s contract with GMA Network will still run for three years so there are lot more to expect from her.
