Netizens put Megastar Sharon Cuneta on hot seat linking her to a recent Twitter post of her fellow “The Voice Philippines” judge Lea Salonga.
On July 30, Lea tweeted moments after the Grand Finals, “There is a big difference between real humility and false modesty. It takes just a little discernment to figure out which is which.”
People suspected that this has got to do with Sharon when she forgot to congratulate Sarah Geronimo and Jona on their victory.
However, Sharon clarified that Lea’s Tweet is not about her and that the Broadway Diva is in touch with her even after the show. “Last na po ito para tapos na: Hindi ako yung sinasabi ni Lea. Sorry pero we are in touch, di kami masisira! End of issue.”
Lea also denied that she was throwing stones at Sharon and that her tweet was just a realization from a past conversation with a friend.
To put an end to speculations, Sharon reported on Facebook that she received a text message from the Popstar Princess. She thanked Sarah and assured theat they know the truth and that there is no more issue between them. “Just got your message, Sarah. Thanks so much bebegurl. Basta tayo alam natin ang totoo. The end na talaga ng issue na ito. Di talaga tayo pinababayaan ni God. Mahal kita.”
According to Sharon, she just did not had the chance to approach Sarah and Jona after the Grand Finals but she’s happy for their success.
