According to reports, Matt transferred into a new talent agency
30-year-old TV actor Matt Evans appeared yesterday on GMA Network’s longest running noontime show “Eat Bulaga.” This was prior to his recent farewell post addressing his now former talent agency Star Magic of ABS-CBN.
On an Instagram post last afternoon, Matt expressed his gratitude as he bid farewell to Star Magic and its people. He named a few of the most significant names that contributed most to his career, Mr. Johnny Manahan, his handler Ms. Mariole, the Star Magic handlers and basketball family, and most especially to Cory Vidanes.
“To my Star Magic family, Mr. M, Ms. Mariole, my handler- Ate @nhilanhils, Star Magic handlers and RMs, @captainluz & my Star Magic basketball family. Higit sa lahat Tita Cory, Tatay Lauren, kay Sir Deo Endrinal @deoendrinal na nagbigay sa akin ng kauna unahang project as “Pedro Penduko” at ang GMO unit na nagbigay sa aking ng mga natatangi pag ganap- Ms. @ginnyocampo, Kuya @markgile, Ms. Ellen Criste, Ate @themasterprocrastinator, @domregaya, my GMO unit family, Star Creatives.. Maraming maraming salamat po sa tiwala. 11 years. I will miss you all. Utang ko ang lahat ng natutunan ko sa industriyang ito sa inyong lahat. Mahal ko kayo.”
He added that he couldn’t have gotten this far in showbiz without the lessons he received from the network.
Matt’s fans and the netizens were shocked of his guesting on one of Kapuso’s programs. It can be recalled that Matt first started his career as a Kapamilya after being a housemate on reality television show “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 1.”
The actor had notable acting gig in numerous series under ABS-CBN. A few of them were “Komiks Presents: Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko,” “Tanging Yaman,” “Rosalka,” and “The Greatest Love.”
Despite his departure, Matt’s loyal fans assured him that they will continue to support his future endeavors.
