The 47-year old actor shared he wants to be the male version of Rosa Rosal.
On the latest interview of PEP.ph with Robin Padilla, he denied the rumors spreading that he will enter the world of politics soon. The 47-year old actor said he is contented on his showbiz career.
Rumors started to spread like fire after Robin has been visibly helping the soldiers and people of Marawi amid the Maute group attack.
“Mahirap po kasi sa pulitika, e. Una ho, ipinapangako ko ho sa lahat ng mga nandidito, hindi po ako papasok sa pulitika,” he started.
“Maayos na maayos na ho ang buhay ko sa show business. “Wala naman ho akong atraso sa mga taga-pelikula, kumikita naman ako nang maayos sa pelikula. At yung aking direksiyon ng buhay ngayon, e, gusto ko ho maging male Rosa Rosal,” he added.
Rosa Rosal is a veteran actress who devoted herself in helping people as volunteerof Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC).
“Ako yung bagong Rosa Rosal, gusto ko lang talaga magkaroon ng linya yung mga maliliit na tao papunta doon sa mga gustong tumulong. Pero yun po talaga ang problema, yung linya, hindi po alam ng mga taong gustong tumulong kung saan sila dadaan. Yung pangarap ko na yun, na ako ang maging bridge, hindi po ako talaga ano sa pulitika,” he added.
Robin jokingly ended his statement, “Kasi kawawa naman yung mga senador doon, baka mabugbog ko lang, okay na po ako.”
Robin donated P5 M to psycho-social intervention to those children of Marawi and another P5 M for the relief goods.
