Actor and businessman Marvin Agustin is currently promoting his new TV series, “Kambal Karibal” with Jean Garcia, Carmina Villarroel, Miguel Tanfelix, Bianca Umali, Alfred Vargas, Gloria Romero, Christopher de Leon, Jeric Gonzales, Rafa Siguion-Reyna, Kyline Alcantara, Sheree, Pauline Mendoza and Gardo Versoza.
Amid Marvin’s hectic schedule, a tweet from Entertainment Uptake captioned, “BREAKING NEWS: Sources claim that Marvin Agustin & Markki Stroem have a sensual affair! Spotted together on several occasions!” went viral recently.
Marvin usually goes on vacations with Markki Stroem. This led to speculations that the two may be in a romantic relationship. Netizens and some entertainment portals had also investigated the same topic.
Photos were included in the said tweet. The same person captured separate photos of them swimming in the ocean. They were also in the same place in Batangas but posted separate photos of the same sunset.
There were also photos from Instagram that indicate they were together in San Francisco. A lot of netizens had also spotted them together around the Philippines and even abroad.
At an interview with PEP.ph during the grand press conference for the new primetime series, Kambal Karibal, Marvin was asked about the said allegations. He answered shortly and nonchalant, “He’s a good friend.”
Marvin claimed that he no longer feels affected in any rumors thrown at him. He also shared, “Twenty-two years na ako dito, wala na yatang makakapagpapikon sa akin.”
Markki joined in the recently concluded Bench 30th Anniversary Show: Under the Stars in Mall of Asia Arena last November 18, Saturday. He was seen as Frank in ABS-CBN’s Doble Kara which ended in February 2017.
