The 19-year old actor replaced ‘Pambansang Bae’ Alden Richards for the said role.
Kapuso Network is now gearing up for another star-studded teleserye slated in early quarter of 2018. The 19-year old actor Ruru Madrid will lead the stellar cast of the upcoming series that will serve as the reunion project of GabRu love team.
After “Encantadia,” Ruru and Gabbi temporarily paired with other actors and actresses on their past projects. The upcoming teleserye will once again feature Ruru and Gabbi as love team and Janine Gutierrez as their love triangle.
According to PEP.ph contributors Gorgy Rula and Noel Ferrer, Alden Richards was the first choice for Ruru’s role.
“Sobrang thankful ako dahil para i-offer kay Alden yung show, ibig sabihin malaking project yun. Panibagong yugto sa karera ko ‘to kaya nakaka-excite,” Ruru said.
This will also feature veteran actors Roi Vinzon Sharmaine Arnaiz, Rochelle Barrameda and Tonton Gutierrez together with brightest young stars, Andre Paras, Alyanna Asistio, Kate Valdez, Sofia Pablo.
It was reported that ‘Comedy Concert Queen’ Ai Ai delas Alas is also included in the teleserye.
Ruru currently stars in “Alyas Robin Hood” now on its last two weeks.
