  • The “My Korean Jagiya” actor revealed that he always dream of receiving an acting award.

Kapuso actor Edgar Allan Guzman won the Best Supporting actor trophy in the recently concluded MMFF 2017 Gabi Ng Parangal. The 29-year old actor revealed the he always dream of having an award.

In his recent interview, Edgar did not expect to win an award for his exceptional acting performance in MMFF 2017 entry “Deadma Walking.”

Kasi mahirap mag-expect, mahirap masaktan,” he said.

Edgar added.

Edgar admitted that he got a little emotional upon hearing his name as the winner of the award.

“Deadma Walking” also stars Joross Gamboa, who is also nominated as Best Actor, however, “All Of You” actor Derek Ramsay won the award.

The “My Korean Jagiya” actor also revealed that he prayed to St. Claire and offered eggs to the patron saint.

So nagbunga yun, eto Best Supporting actor and ‘Thank you Lord’ and thank you din sa Metro Manila Film Festival para sa award,” he said.
