According to an article in BALITA.net, they described that they have talked with a loyal staff of Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada. Apparently, the said staff recalled that Jake Ejercito will run as a councilor in Manila.
Although this hasn’t been confirmed nor denied, the staff acknowledged that Jake has been going back and forth at the Manila City Hall.
The unnamed staff apparently recalled:
“Kung hindi magbabago ang plano, tatakbo siyang konsehal. Marami ang nagbubuyo sa kanya at mukhang napapayag na rin siya.”
However, the staff also mentioned that allegedly, Jake would want to continue his showbiz career. But he felt disappointed at the continuous shame, hate and negativity he receives from AlDub (Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards) fans.
The staff also relayed to BALITA.net that Jake received an offer for a drama series. However, he couldn’t handle the stress of being a dramatic actor. Then, the staff shared that Jake will never use Maine for fame.
“Basta, isa lang ang sinabi sa amin ni Jake, hindi niya kayang manggamit. Hindi niya ginagamit si Maine Mendoza.”
